Pending Storm Updates and Closures

Monday, October 7 Update | The friars and parish staff are monitoring the development of Hurricane Milton, with cancellations and closures set to be announced later today. | Storm updates from the Diocese of St. Petersburg can be found at dosp.org/stormupdates.

  • The DOSP Pastoral Center building will be physically closing Monday, October 7 at noon, and will be physically closed Tuesday, October 8 and Wednesday, October 9.
  • All DOSP Catholic Schools and Early Childhood Centers will be closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The following parish activities have been adjusted or cancelled due to potential impacts from Hurricane Milton. This includes:

  • Women’s Prayer Group | Wednesday, October 9, at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. | Cancelled
  • Giving from the Heart | Saturday, October 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. | Postponed to Undetermined Date

Friday, September 27 Update | The church and North Campus sustained no visible damage during Hurricane Helene. The church, parish office, and the S.H. Gift & Book Store are open. Masses for this weekend (26th Sunday in Ordinary Time) will move forward as scheduled.
