This Friday, June 12, 2026 is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, the devotion to which our parish was consecrated 121 years ago.

Today, June 11, 2026, just up Interstate 4 at @maryqueenshrine, the @usccb are gathered to consecrate the United States to the same devotion. This is the first such formal consecration of the nation to Christ’s heart, both in celebration of the country`s 250th Anniversary, and amid a time of great division and uncertainty. This consecration allows for a period of reflection, reparation, and to move us to have a greater heart for the poor and the suffering.
